Description:

Design a project that would teach Boy Scouts about Model Rockets, GPS and Amateur Radio. Do it in a way that would make it exciting and fun. Build all the parts and assemble them into a working rocket with a payload that consists of a battery, Amateur radio TV transmitter, TV camera and an On Screen Display (OSD) broard with GPS. Finally launch the rocket with the payload, record the live video from the payload and recover the rocket.

Some Technical Information:

The project was built around the Public Missile Limited Explorer 29 Rocket with added Payload section and a 36" parachute. We built two complete rocket systems.
